About Elektrizity

Original songs by Richard, brought to life through Natallia’s art and videos. Elektrizity brings together our love of music, storytelling and colour.

Richard — Songwriting and composition

Music has always been a passion of mine, across many genres. When I began writing and composing my own songs, I discovered something so satisfying that I now devote myself to it full time.

I’ve always admired talent and how people can create such beautiful music. I always thought it would be impossible for me to create anything at all. Then one day, while having coffee on the beach, I put pen to paper and started writing some verses for a song. It just flowed from there.

One song I’m particularly excited about is “Blue, purple, yellow and green”. I wanted to create something different: beautiful, ethereal and enchanting. In my imagination, I hear it performed by a full orchestra and a wonderful vocalist.

Natallia — Art and videos

I’ve loved art and crafts all my life. What began as a hobby grew into hundreds of handmade creations: soft toys, jewellery and unusual objects made from all sorts of materials. For birthdays and celebrations, I always preferred to make something personal—a gift from the heart.

I began painting in my thirties, although I was initially nervous about my ability and whether anyone would appreciate my work. Meeting and marrying Richard helped change that. His encouragement gave me confidence, and paintings first made as gifts for him gradually became gifts for family and friends too.

When Richard began creating music, I had a new opportunity to bring my art into his songs and videos.
